History

Camp Penuel USA was chartered in 1973. Mr. Bernhagen came into contact with the camp in the year 1990. God put in the hearts of Paul and his wife, Thelma, the idea of a camp in Costa Rica in the year 1999, after spending a summer working together at the camp.  For more information on Camp Penuel USA please visit: www.camp-penuel.org.
